Schiermonnikoog is a typical Wadden island, quiet, atmospheric and with only one village. Ideal for an active / competitive & interactive outing with one of our treasure hunts. Calculated from the west, Schiermonnikoog is the fifth inhabited Dutch Wadden island and belongs to the province of Friesland. In January 2019, the Wadden Island had 936 inhabitants. Schiermonnikoog can be reached by boat from Lauwersoog in about 50 minutes, unfortunately the car cannot come along.
Ameland

Calculated from the west, Ameland is the fourth inhabited Dutch Wadden Island and belongs to the province of Friesland. In January 2019, the Wadden Island had 3673 inhabitants. Terschelling
Vlieland
Vlieland is located in the province of Friesland and is the second inhabited Wadden Island from the west. The island is located between Texel and Terschelling. Just like at Terschelling, the ferry departs from Harlingen. The crossing to Vlieland takes about 90 minutes, the car must remain on the mainland. In January 2019 the island had 1138 inhabitants.
Texel
The largest Dutch Wadden Island is Texel and it belongs to the province of North Holland. Texel is about 20 km long and 8 km wide and had 13,547 inhabitants in January 2019. From Den Helder it is about 20 minutes by ferry to Texel. Just like Terschelling and Ameland, you can bring your own car to Texel. The island of the Texel sheep.
